This content is offered as cultural and religious information. It describes what the tradition says; it doesn’t predict what will happen to you.

No guaranteed outcomes
Pujas, mantras, remedies, gemstones and yantras are traditional religious practices. Neither we nor any pandit, temple or seller on our marketplace can promise a particular outcome, whether in health, relationships, marriage, children, exams, work or wealth. We don’t allow sellers to claim otherwise.
How our dates and times are computed, and why they can differ
- All panchang elements (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana), sunrise and sunset, muhurat windows, eclipses and planetary positions are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris, using the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsha, for each city’s coordinates and time zone.
- Traditions differ. For example:
- Smarta and Vaishnava Ekadashi rules;
- the amanta and purnimanta month systems;
- regional festival rules;
- other ayanamshas.
- Location matters. A festival can fall on a different date in London than in Delhi, because the rules depend on local sunrise.
- Our festival pages say which rule and which reference city we used.
- For an important ceremony (vivah, griha pravesh, mundan and similar), confirm the date and time with your family priest. A general muhurat list doesn’t consider the individual birth charts that many traditions also use.
Kundli and matching tools
Automated charts depend on the birth time and place you enter. A few minutes’ difference can change the ascendant and some results. Matching scores (Ashtakoot) and dosha checks are traditional indicators, not verdicts on a relationship.
