Uttara Phalguni (उत्तर फाल्गुनी) is the 12th of the 27 nakshatras. Its ruling planet is the Sun, and its presiding deity is Aryaman. The symbol associated with this nakshatra is the back legs of a bed — an image that carries a sense of rest, support and settled comfort rather than display.
